How to Use the Vignette
In the vignette "Pumping Up the Resume" - Paula, is a company manager who is faced with dilemma when Jeff, one of her subordinates finally admits that he pumped up his resume. Although his college record was already quite impressive, Jeff did a last minute tweak on his resume and added that he was a member of an Honor Society, even if he really wasn't. How should Paula deal with Jeff's dishonesty? Should she consider it as a grave offense, or weigh it against Jeff's other contributions to the company? Paula's decision in the matter is crucial, as it can affect both the company and Jeff's career. Watch what events lead to the discovery and how this situation can possibly be resolved.
Discussion Questions:
